- Prepare patients for examinations and collect medical history
- Perform preliminary diagnostic testing and measurements
- Assist doctors during patient visits as needed
- Educate patients on eyewear and lens options
- Help patients select frames and ensure proper fit
- Adjust, repair, and troubleshoot eyewear
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Clean and maintain exam rooms and equipment
- Follow all patient privacy and safety procedures
